Why is my 5 month old puppy limping?

I have a 5 month old, South African Boerboel. Not too many people know much about this breed, so I will elaborate. He has Mastiff, Bulldog, and Rhodesian Ridge back in him. He is a very large puppy. I have been giving him dog food instead of puppy food, so he doesn't grow too fast. Yesterday, he started limping. It is his right, hind leg that is giving him trouble. He is just as happy as ever, still is walking around, has that same appetite, and his stools are normal. He looks fine. He doesn't mind if I touch his leg and move it around. He doesn't have anything stuck in his feet. Please help me! I feel so bad for my best buddy.

He needs to see his vet. Leg problems are bad enough, but if it's spine related (and back leg limping is a symptom), he needs immediate care. Do his toes turn under at all? With a large dog , there is always the hip problem to be concerned about, too. Take him in to his Dr.
