why does my Shetland Sheepdog (7months old) get car sick?
he gets sick from just going to the vet which is only a couple streets away

He might have an uneasy stomach. Take him to your Local Vet. See if they can give him something from the Motion Sickness. Poor baby! :(

OMG! my parents have the same dog and he did the same thing for awhile til one day he wouldnt get car sick anymore. i read online along time ago that you can treat him in the car if you had to get something from the car take him with you and treat him while you are there, do that for a couple of weeks.Then take it to the next level and do the same thing but with the car on. then after awhile...do it with the car moving in the driveway then eventually on the road. ive seen alot of dogs get car sick.

My Shasta used to also when he was about 7-9mo old. He threw up once, [yeah, you could tell that he had pretty much inhaled his supper that day... :S] He also would get really bad gas whenever he was in the car... never any other time. He is fine in the car now though.
