Why does my mini pin wipes his feet after he pees?
It's cute, but I'm curious. Why does my dog wipe his feet after peeing?

He is not wiping his feet...he is marking his spot! Dogs can leave scent through glands in their feet. He pees to mark, then marks with his feet to add an extra *message to other dogs. There is limited research that suggests the foot scraping indicates direction of travel, so other dogs know which way you have gone.
