Why does my 5 yr old beagle love to smell peoples breaths?

Beagles have great noses, that means they can smell alot of things, since they are used for hunting. She/he can maybe be seeing what you have eaten or ect.

BOL! I used to have a beagle, sadly she passed away from cancer 3 years ago. R.I.P.

They are wonderful dogs :) And mine used to do the same thing with wanting to smell people's breath. She would LOVE to get right in your face and sniff and grunt. I think they just can't help themselves, with their super-strong noses, they feel the need to smell/investigate EVERY thing!
