What would make my dog have a change of behavior regarding where she sleeps

Last week my dog quit sleeping at the foot of the bed. Likes to get on the bed and play a little, then she goes to the living room and sleeps in a chair. She has always slept at the foot of the bed. It was such a quick behavior change. I don't know what the reason is.

Animals are tuned in to the smallest details about their surroundings. It could be something as simple as a change in the bedding, or even a different detergent used to wash the bedding (making it smell different.) It could be an issue about hot or cold. Or it could be some other change that took place in your household that may seem to have nothing to do with the bed. As long as there is no problem with her sleeping in the chair, I wouldn't worry about it.

could be heat or cold. Or perhaps level of comfort. maybe even someone snoring could be bothering her. My dog's sleep in different areas. My little one sleeps in a closet.
