What type carpet is best to avoid snagging from our 15 pound Westie's nails?

We keep her nails trimmed but rugs still get snags and pulls. A carpet or rug brand name would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

We have a Coton and our carpeting is a cut and loop berber. We have not had any pulls. I think the brand is Stainmaster. We purchased it and had it installed by Costco.

I gotta bark in here. When shopping for new carpet, I was advised to Not get berber. Those loops catch and a whole line of carpet can pull out.
I would go with a cut pile, no loops, no matter how small.

Why not tile or pergo for some rooms? They are MUCH easier to clean. When she gets old you will be cleaning the floor a lot b/c they lose bladder control w/ age... ^_^
