That would depend on what it's mixed with.

I agree. Mixed breed dogs have different physical characteristics depending what they are mixed with and/or which gene(s) are dominate.

I agree with the others. It might look a lot like an APBT, a lot like the other breed(s) it's mixed with, or have some features of each breed.

You can search for dogs on Dogster by clicking "More Search Options" at the top of the page, then "Find a Member Dog." There you can select different breed mixes to see if there are any Dogsters who've chosen that as their description, and see pictures of them. But please keep in mind:

-Dogster only lets you pick two breeds; dogs can be a combination of many more than just the two listed.

-Most people with mixed breed dogs do not know for sure what breed(s) their dog is - it's just a guess.

-A few Dogsters have chosen breed(s) they obviously are not to add some humor to their profile.

-Many breeds are mis-identified as APBTs. Lots of people can't tell the difference between related breeds.

-"Pit bull" refers to a type of dog (several breeds/mixes); "American Pit Bull Terrier" is a specific breed recognized by the UKC.

Have fun!
