What are the home made remedies to cure diarrhea in my 1.5 year old Labrador puppy?

We had this problem a while ago, my neighbor suggested putting pumpkin in her food. I bought canned pumpkin and put a spoonful (you may need two depending on size) mixed in the food. Cured it up in a day. Also made pumpkin dog treats for them all.

i have used "plain canned pumpkin" mixed in my dogs food several times and it stopped the diarrhea within a few hours to a day every time.

You can also mix in a small amount of plain yogurt to the food or add in cooked plain rice. The yogurt will help put the good bacteria back into his intestines (since the diarrhea flushes a lot of it out) and the rice will help solidify the poop.
