Years ago my dog got parvo even after getting vaccinated. At the time I had no money to take him to the vet so I nursed him thru it with beef broth ice cubes and baby aspirin. He survived & years later getting his yearly rabies shot, the vet noticed it left him with a slight heart murmur and the beginnings of cataracts. He was a very playful, energetic dog, lived to be 17. Always keep up with the shots & exams. Your vet should inform you of his needs. Enjoy!
