We have 6 month old puppy need help getting her to stop biting & going out to house train?

She is a mixed breed(Black Labrador, Border Collie, Doberman Pincher) we rescued when she was 4 months old she was kept outside in a 6 foot by 6 foot run with the mother and is now terrified at being taken outside.

Using food to reward her when you take her out and when she goes to the potty outside will give her more confidence.

Whe a dog is timid or fearful I suggest the NILIF training method. It's a method of using food all day as a trade for behaviors we want the dog to repeat. It's important to ignore or distract the puppy from behaviors we don't want. Do not scold or punish.

Rather than fill her bowl, put her food in a bag and keep it on you all day. Every time you ask for a behavior, use food to lure her throough it and to reward her for trying behaviors on her own.
If you go to Day 3 of Sonny's diary, it explains how he learned not to bite, but give kisses instead. All part of the NILIF method!
Good luck.
