We are looking for a good vet in the San Diego area. Suggestions please

We recently had a very awful experience with the vet we have been taking our 5 month old bull dog to. He had cherry eye surgery a week ago, and is worse off now then he was then.
The Vet refuses to help us and said he now has an ulcer in the eye. We are new puppy owners and want the best care for our dog. Any suggestions on vets in the San Diego area that are good, caring and competent?

I would do a google search for a veterinary opthalmogist in your area. Cherry eye surgery is very intricate, and there is no way the average vet should be doing it. My Frenchie recently had the surgery (by an opthalmogist) and he also ended up with an ulcer, in spite of me faithfully making sure he wore a cone AND got all the meds at the right times. It has been only a month and both are now perfectly healed with no further surgery required and no evidence of the cherry eye. I was told that cherry eye surgery usually will look MUCH worse before it gets better, but if I were you, I would certainly have a specialist look at it.
