Walking two dogs at once, one pulls forward the other drags along behind me at the end of the leash?
I've been having a lot of trouble walking my dog Violet and my mother's dog Scamp at the same time, I can't seem to find help with google plenty of sites about how to walk two dogs with separate leashes but none about what to do when one pulls forward and the other backward.
When I walk the dogs I use two leashes, Violet on a head halter (on flat collar she can pull me over when it's muddy), Scamp usually on a flat collar (he has head halter he had to wear to dog training but we prefer the collar for him).
Scamp is fine walking next to Violet with someone else holding the leash or when I walk him without Violet but for some reason when I walk them both he throws on the breaks. Violet and I like to walk briskly and so she gets frustrated and pulls forward whilst Scamp lags behind at the end of the leash, in the end I give up and take them both home.
I'm working on Violet's pulling forward but I'm not sure what to do about Scamp being reluctant to walk with us, anyone have any ideas?

Depending on how big Scamp is, maybe switch him to a flexi-leash. That way he can walk a little slower and you and Violet a little faster. This works well for when I walk my Weim (pulls ahead) and my Pug (lags behind).
