side effects of ciprofloxacin 250mg and fluconazole 100mg

My basset has an ear infection he was on thefluconazole 100mg for about 10 days did ok. but the infection came back worse so the vet gave more plus the ciprofloxacin 250mg. said there was bacterial infection also. I have noticed that he stares off into space sometimes after the second dose and is restless.some vomiting not much runny stools with blood. I have cut the second dose in half and it seems to help a little.Is this dose too much for him ? He weighs 68lbs and is 7 yrs old.
