Recently my dog that has separation anxiety has began defecating in his kennel when left alone. How do we stop this?
My dog is a 2 year old Husky/ Australian Shepard mix that has separation anxiety. When we leave for even just a few minutes he defecates in his kennel. Even if we take him for a walk/run before hand. Is this part of the separation anxiety? And how do we get him to stop?

You should only leave him for a few seconds then come back gradually increasing the time between leaving and coming back. Start by only leaving for seconds and then minutes. Also, give him a KONG to that has a treat or peanut butter inside to distract him.
