poured rubbing alcohol on cut on dogs head. Jerked head, alcohol got n eye Rinse w/water Still bad. What else can I do?

Take him to the vet! It is likely the alcohol burned his eye and it will need some protective ointment to allow it to heal. Eyes can ulcerate quickly, this is not something to fool around with at home.

What you can do is what you should have done in the 1st place...Take your dog to the vet!!!!
Of coarse he jerked his head!...Pour rubbing alcohol into a cut on you & see how it feels!!!!

Rubbing alcohol on a cut is incredibly painful and can sometimes do more harm than good. Take him to the vet for both the cut and his eyes.

I think rubbing alcohol had to have hurt very badly.
I can hardly stand to have it poured on a sore.
Getting it into the eye can cause more problems.
I agree get the dog into the vet asap.
The cut could also be infected and it needs some different type of treatment and possibly oral antibotics from the vet's office.

Don’t poor rubbing alcohol on a cut. Clean it with soap, water, and then use and antibiotic ointment. If it needs more treatment then that, take the dog to the vet. Messing about with alcohol and home remedies will make your dog sicker and you will end up spending twice as much at the vet as you would have if you took the poor animal to begin with.

Go to the vet....that's what should have been done instead of pouring alcohol on a wound.
