Pet Food Recall from Kroger
Not so much a question here as a warning. I just saw this.
The recalled pet food is in 19 states, including North Carolina. Stores that are affected by the dog and cat food recall include Kroger stores, Baker’s, Dillons, Gerbes, Food 4 Less, Jay C, Hilander, Owen’s, Pay Less and Scott's.
Some pets will seem sluggish or have a lack of appetite. Also, a yellow tint in the eyes of a pet may be the result of ingesting a food with aflatoxin.
Brand names included are Pet Pride, Old Yeller, Kroger Pet and MORE. (EDIT: this is from their press release they don't say what other brands are in the recall. Sigh.)
There currently is no hotline or website set up to report/find out if your food was on the recall list, but they are telling people who have bought this food or similarly branded food to take it back to their nearest store for a full refund.
Obviously, if your dog has eaten any of this, you need to be on standby for the emergency vet at the sign of any symptoms of unwellness.

I'm pretty sure those are the only brands affected... I saw this already too. Kroger store brand, Pet Pride, and old Yeller, and only in certain states. Read the whole story if you're worried.
Here is the story from the dogster main page:
