going from the tag I understand that your boxer has a lump and is showing signs of nervous system issues?

if the lump is pressing on any major nerve/nerve bundles it can cause nervous system problems. it could be as simple as a cyst that would require a simple surgery to remove. however, as my grandfather says "prepare for the worst, and hope for the best". a lump can be serious as can nervous system problems. there are too many unknowns to give a real answer.

It all depends on what he is going to the vets for...If its just for his first shots and puppy check up, then it is nothing major. They will weigh him, give him his shots, and make sure he is healthy. Its really no big deal. If it is something else, please feel free to Dog mail me, and tell me more about your dog, and I will tell you my experience with it. Good luck.
