Have you given it a Bully Stick or other treat like that? Often times Dogs will swallow a smaller piece of that, or maybe a stick or something that's hard to digest and messes up their digestive system for a couple days.
Just hang on for a while longer, and see if it doesn't clear up.

Tasha (in memory)

If you did not introduce anything new in his diet, either he got into something that made him vomit (if a child gave him people food), he ate a plant or bug, etc., or he is having a bad reaction to his diet. If you just opened a new bag of food or treats, bring it back to the store and exchange it for a new one. If it continues for the next couple of days, bring him to the vet because he may have a blockage. If you need to change foods, look for Natural Choice Wholesome Essentials in the light green bag with the westie picture on it. ^_^

He might have a sensitivity to the food (Shasta used to randomly throw up sometimes right after he ate). It could also be that he ate too fast. When my boys eat too fast, they ALWAYS puke it up. As the above answers said, he might have ingested something that disagrees with his tummy.

Try giving him a chew treat that might sit on his tummy a little better, or even soak his food for a while.

If his problem doesn't clear up in a couple days, or if he starts acting different, it's probably time for a checkup at the vet. The vet will assess him and help you figure it out. :-)

Best wishes,
