Archie

My white dog's vulva is turning black. I just started washing her with diluted vinegar and applying A&D ointment.

This dog has been spade. She's an 8 year-old Westie.

I would take her to the vet.

I have seen our rescues turn a little darker since being spayed, and then she lays out in the sun.
But, I seen her belly skin turn as well. So, she is fine.
But, if you feel something is going on, then it is best to see a vet to make sure your fears are nothing. They can tell by looking and swabbing the inside of the vulva to make sure she does not have an infection and or a canine std, there is a test called Brucellois, I might have spelled that wrong.
don't worry just take her in for a vulva swab.
It usually costs anywhere between 15-30 dollars here.
