We have a two year old rescue dog, Kannan(who was bought home before he was even a month old, so yeah he's pretty spoilt lol). Last week, we bought home another pup, a two month old, Cheese. Kannan's a pretty aggressive dog..so we've been extra careful about leaving the two alone.
I've been taking Cheese out to Kannan for short periods of time to let him get used to her(He would be in his cage or on leash)
Now the problem is that he starts growling and getting angry when he sees Cheese standing or walking on the ground!(usually i hold her)
When i let them sniff each other, Kannan would let out growls(esp when she tries to go near him) and stare at her in a weird way(with head kinda sideways)!
Once when Cheese slipped off the collar while Kannan was not on leash, he chased her, and almost bit her!
Is there any way to get them to like each other? Kannan's not leash trained or a very social dog, so taking them both out for walks is impossible! Any advice please??

I had the same issue. You need to be very stern with the older Dog let him know you are the boss. But most important and this worked for me, when your older dog is showing aggression towards your new pup release a load clap and that will snap him out of that aggression and correct him right then and there. Just be patient and let him know your the boss .

Sadly, you are dealing with an older dog who most likely has no idea how to interact with a puppy due to his removal from his mother and littermates so young. I would be very concerned that, given a chance, he may likely severely injure or even kill this puppy.
My only suggestion would be to have a certified behaviorist come to your home and help you with them, if you must keep the puppy. This person would be able to observe his actions and determine whether he will be able to ultimately accept this puppy or not.
Most of the "normal" ways of getting an older dog used to a puppy will not work for you since, as you say, he is not leash trained or social.
Until you get some professional help I would not allow the dogs to interact at all. It is likely to end very badly!
