The bleeding usually lasts anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on the idividual. The average is around 2 weeks. Wait for her cycle to end and then get her spayed. You'll be lengthening her life and greatly reducing her chances of cancer. It will also eliminate her risk of pyometra which is a life threatening infection of the uterus. It'll make your life a lot easier too! She will go thru this every 5-7 months for the rest of her life!

Dieta

be careful to not leave your dog unattended outside or around any other dogs.
be careful to make sure she is out of heat , that is usually 2 weeks coming in and 2 weeks coming out. That is the safe amount of time.
So for four weeks make sure you never leave her anywhere around any dogs.
If you get her spayed yes, then it is not so much worry and you both can be safe and happy.
