The only thing to do is to take your dog to the vet's. It could be dry eye, an infection...only a proper diagnosis from the vet will tell you for sure. That's what we did with my dog and he had dry eye.

Dogs get all kinds of junk in their eyes... I don't diagnose over the internet, but i've never met an animal that had to be put to sleep because of an eye problem. Maia, CVT
