My poor baby Colbie she is a dachund and a couple days ago she couldnt open her right eye all the way.
her right 1 is i believe red and she cant open it all the way and she itches it alot with our carpet and her paw and now tonite her left one looks a little red... plzzz give me good news that i wont have to put her to sleep bc i just had to put a dog to sleep that i have had since i was born 15 years she was my bestfriend she died 2 years ago i beleive and im still very sad so plzz give me some news that its not that bad

hhhmmm...take her to the vet. It could be a eye infection which can be easily treated.

I wouldn't worry about putting her to sleep as long as she's eating, drinking, and has a good attitude/quality of life. Dogs get all kinds of junk in their eyes... I don't diagnose over the internet, but i've never met an animal that had to be put to sleep because of an eye problem.

My dog had that once. The only thing to do is to take your dog to the vet's. It could be dry eye, an infection...only a proper diagnosis from the vet will tell you for sure. That's what we did with my dog and he had dry eye.
