Well, it's a little (well, a lot) late, but does she have a whelping box? The best thing to do is stay up with her and watch her. Have a cell phone handy, cuz you might need it to call the vet. If you think that something is going wrong, don't know how to help, or are just very nervous, CALL THE VET and ask him what to do. Some people will tell you that dogs can take of it themselves, but what if a complication comes up? Good luck, and please get her spayed once you have given all the puppies away. DON'T GIVE THE PUPPIES AWAY UNTIL THEY ARE 8 WEEKS OLD! THEY NEED THESE 2 MONTHS TO LEANR "CANINE ETTIQUE" FROM THEIR MOTHER AND LITTER MATES!

You can't be serious! You really need to call a vet... I have no more to say

i am hoping that you please call a vet .. dogs can die giving birth without proper attention given to them.. birthing is not something you should be attempting to do with no previous experience.. if you love your dog take her in!! she needs proper care through out her pregnancy too.. you really should not attmept to do this alone

Ugh. Please get some advice via a vet examination...

Hunnie

When our red-nosed pit was going to give birth, she started trying to find a good place to lie down. If you don't want her having the puppies on your couch, make sure that you find a cardboard box and encourage her to birth there by making it dark and comfy. Our pitt had 10 puppies, so be prepared for a LOT of puppies.
