My older dog barks every morning at 5 am nonstop. How do I make her stop?

She has her food, water and a potty pad set out for her. Sometimes we'll even put a diaper on her. If I give her attention for 10-15 min. she'll go back to sleep, if I try to ignore her she'll bark for hours. This is has been almost every single morning lately. During the week it's not as bad because we get up around 6:30, but on weekends it's brutal. Any suggestions?

Do you think it might be from the time change. I don't know where you live, but here it is light at 5am and my dogs start moving around. I would just take her out and give her attention. You said she goes back to sleep after that. If its the time change, then she will go back to normal in a few months.
