My mini long haired dachshund has a circular black spot on his skin

He has had this for a month, and has had others in the past. He is 2 years old. He has small crusty spots, and one medium size black spot with red around it. No hair loss, doesnt bother him, I sleep with him and I don't have any evidence of a rash.
