Imodium was not a good idea...I would never give human medicine to a dog unless advised by a vet. Money is tight for a lot of people right now but your dog needs help. Find an emergency vet and see if you can work out a payment plan. Ask friends to lend you the money. Do whatever you can to get your dog to a vet. Good luck.

Call your local humane shelter, county animal shelter, or a local rescue shelter. Many of them have vets on staff that can see your pet for greatly reduced prices. If you are disable on a fixed income you may even get more help getting your pet to a vet. Please make those calls and get your dog to a vet NOW!! Your pup can die from dehydration. In the meantime, you need to try to get fluids into your pup. Plain canned pumpkin (not the kind with spices and and other ingredients) can help stop the diarrhea if your pup will eat. The problem is you don't know why your dog is sick. Could be poisoning, could be other things. Only a vet can help you effectively. Please get your pup to a vet before it's too late.

Dieta

Is he shaking due to the immodium? then get some charcoal and consult with vet immediately , they do flex pay.
The charcoal can work with the liquid and make it pass through.
But, really I don't know what is wrong with your dog the vet is your best answer.

Who told you to give Imodium to your dog???

Human meds are DANGEROUS and can sometimes be DEADLY. Unless your vet advises it, they should NEVER be given.

Im NOT trying to be mean or insensitive but, If you cant afford a Vet visit, you cant afford to have a dog. If your kids were sick, they'd need to go to the doctor. Pets are NO DIFFERENT. Not treating an illness is cruelity.

Vomiting and Diarehea is VERY serious and can kill your dog in a very short time. You need to find somehow to get him to the Vet. Borrow from friends, make a payment plan with the vet or sign him over to a shelter or to someone so he can get the treatment he needs.

Maybe a friend, neighbor or co-worker can adopt it and take care of it until you can afford to.
