My dogs stomach won't stop grumbling and took him out to go potty and a big red stringy glob came out. What's wrong?

My boyfriends mothers dog is going thru a hard time because he is new to the house and other animals here. His stomach has been gurgling all day really loudly I might add. Won't take a treat and just pooped blood I believe. It was a stringy red glob. And he seems to just want to sleep. I'm worried. Please help.
