My dogs piddle in the same area of the yard. What can I do to help with odors, especially in summer, in this area?

To be honest, you may not want to change the odor up to much or you may start having accidents in the house. A dog uses smell to designate its "spot". My suggestion, so it doesn't over power "their smell" is to plant flowers close to the area. That way, the smell is not at all offensive to humans but the dogs can still smell "their spots."
