This activity is a clear indication that you have a "hunter". Who is trying to mask it's scent, where it will better "hide" in the inviromment. It's podssible, that it's "objecting" to the scents from the soaps you bathing it with. You might try using an un-scented soap. That may help some, but I doubt if it will abort this activity on it's own.
