My dog knows outside is for pottying, but still goes potty in the middle of the night, how do I get her to stop
I live in an apartment and my Blue heeler/Chihuahua mix knows to go outside to potty and she'lll even let me know when she needs to go outside...I take her out just before bedtime and everything goes well and in the middle of the night she gets up and goes pee in the same spots that I clean up....How do I get her to stop peeing in the middle of the night on my carpet? And how can I get her to let me know she needs to go?

I would get a good enzymatic cleaner and get the spots reallllly well. You can check with a black light to make sure you got it all. Has the vet checked her for a UTI? She might not be able to hold it all night and you might need to take her out.
