My dog keeps walking around the apartment, wont stay still. Whats wrong?

My new 10 week old lab/heeler mix wont stay still even at night? He walks around the apartment, randomly lays down somewhere, then gets back up and repeats the same thing. We tried taking him out, feeding him, holding him nothing works. It seems like hes tired but wont go to sleep. Is this a medical condition or typical puppy behavior?

You have a puppy HOUND dog. They are very active; he probably misses his siblings. Five weeks ago he was getting fed every four hours. He is too young to be potty trained or anxious to sit still. Reassure him without babying him. Stay with him one night. After he stays down for awhile, give him a treat. Tasha likes Nutro pbutter crunchies- small but effective! This sounds like normal puppy behavior, but bring it up to the vet at your next puppy shots appointment to get a professional opinion. ^_^
