If your dog is a female, It's either in Heat, or on it's period(Like humans) It's refectly normal, nothing to worry about. If your dog is a male, contact your vet right away.

Toto, CD, RN, CGC

Straining to pee, constant little dribbles of pee and blood either in or following urination normally indicate a bladder infection or crystals. You will need to collect some urine and take it to your vet for analysis... this will determine what type of infection it is and what is the appropriate antibiotic.
It is important to get this checked out ASAP... bladder infections are extremely painful!!!

Dieta

heats are normal for unaltered dogs, but if this is a she dog, make sure you keep her far away from all male dogs so she doesn't get pregnant.
If you see blood and the dog is spayed, this could mean she or he has an infection or this dog has stones in the bladder.
I would take this dog to the vet as we are not a vet service, if you ever see something serious or blood in the urine you should take your dog to the vet immediately, as this is a sign of a serious issue.
good luck and i hope it is a minor thing.
