My dog is scared(shaking, urinating on self, and hiding) of any date I bring home, Please help :(

I've had my jack-chi, Squeaker, for about 9 months & she is 6 years old. She and I live alone, but she isn't overly protective of the apartment, she loves all people and other animals, her favorite person is my 5 month old niece, she is just a good dog. Well a few months ago I was dating a guy and Squeaker loved him his first visit over, but on the second visit something changed and she began shaking every time he would be in the same room with her, then she started urinating on herself, and just crying and hiding when he was around. I admit, I thought maybe he had accidentally hurt her, or stepped on her or somehow scared her, but now I'm dating someone new, and it's the same thing, yesterday she loved him, and today every time she looked at him she started shaking and crying and putting her ears down. Also we did activities with her together, so she wouldn't feel left out, so i don't think it's a separation anxiety issue. any advice or words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated :)

I would try meeting the guys someplace outside the house. To see if this works better. It sounds like your dog has problems with socialization, so I think the best thing would be to get the dog out of the house and meet more people. See if you can have friends come up to you outside the house and give her treats so that she starts to trust people better. I hope you find something that works for you.
