my dog is realy shy and barks at my freinds when they comeover but she doesnt bark at the family how do i break that hab
how do i break her bakeing habit when she meets new people? i have them pet her and let her smell them but it doesnt help. help me peasle before my freinds are to scared to come over.

well its hard to say without knowing the whole situation. but it sounds like the treat giving and petting from your friends is actually rewarding your dogs barking behavior. you have to pay no attention to her in those times until she calms down. then give her treats and pets in the calm state.
