You need to get your dog spayed very soon. If you are an amateur who knows nothing about when a dog is in labor, you need to get a reality check and stop doing this very cruel thing to your dog. We already have enough dogs without homes. We don't need you contributing.

One can only assume that you have had her at the vet frequently throughout her pregnancy & have read everything you can about whelping. A dog's gestation period is 63 days give or take. Your vet should be on your speed dial in case of an emergency..such as a very costly (think thousands of dollars) e-c-section. Make her a whelping box in a quiet room of the house, stock your first aid kit, have plenty of towels on hand, baby bottles in case you need to hand feed. She may indeed be looking for a place to give birth.
Breeding is a huge responsibility & should only be done by professionals with tons of experience..not for the "miracle of birth" or "she should experience motherhood once" or any other myriad of excuses. Brace yourself guest for a barrage of negative replies. Please have your dog spayed asap after she drops her pups.

Take her to the vet. One that specializes in reproduction, if you can.
I hope things turn out okay for you. There are quite a few risks involved in pregnancies, so start reading up on what to do ASAP. Here are a few links to get your research started:

It sounds like she is starting to make a "nest" for her to have her puppies. The idea about a welping box was a good idea. I do wish the best to you and your dog.
