My dog is limping and favoring his back right leg after playing at the dog park.

He's lifting it from the hip up, and holding it at an odd angle. But he will still put weight on it and walk (with a limp) and he wants to play still.

I would take him to the vet. If it is at an odd angle, and he is limping, then this could be a serious injury. He could have hurt himself at the dog park. Inspect his leg carefully and see if you can see anything else adnormal. Give the vet a call, too. This may not be something that will heal without proper care.

I would also suggest taking your dog to the vet. Its always better to be safe than sorry!

Dieta

yeap, me too. the vet is going to check it and know if it is a sprain or much more.
I have a sprain this week too. It is better now but I twisted the joint in my front leg. It was a big oooowweeee. and mom put some ice on it and stretched it every day.
talk to your doctor.

your dog may have a dislocated knee cap or it might just be a strain call your vet and tell him/her the symtoms of your dogs injury if your vet says to bring your dog in to have it checked out do it as soon as you can you dont want to cause more injury to your dogs leg, dont let your dog play and if you do play make sure you are very calm about it, dont let him/her jump up and down it may cause more injury to the leg, when you go to bed make sure your dog is confined to an area where he/she cant jump or cause more injuryto the leg, you may think about wrapping his/her leg up for the night as well
