Turn on the blower to heat the sap on your dog's fur and soften it before rubbing the fur with cotton balls soaked in olive oil or you can use a damp cloth with creamy peanut butter or mayonnaise.

Rub Bacon Grease, Lard, or Mayonnaise on the spot, and wipe it off with a damp cloth.

The above will work. I use peanut butter. Rub it into the fur & leave it. The oils break down the sap & the dog will lick it off.
