my dog has a red lump on the outside of his lip,that bleeds now and again.But there is no puss.

lumps near the mouth can bleed cause of the constant usage of the canine teeth. and or if licking it all the time.. it could be just a wart or a boil... but just to make sure its not viral, i would ask the vet at least..
