My dog Coco used to be very anti-car and now she isn't as nervous but on long car trips she still barfs.

She barfs a water-like substance when she is nervous of the car. She rarely does it anymore though.

First you need to sooth Coco with good words and phrases like, Good Girl or Boy. Always shower him with treats and give him lots of attention. Warning: Don't give Coco lots of food and treats before the car ride though. But don't starve Coco to death. If you can try to get somebody to go with you on the rides. Sit Coco and that person in the back seats if possible on top of older towels. Put a bed on top of a towel. Put new toys on the bed. Have the person you invited sit in the back and pet him and talk to him a lot. Make sure Coco actually likes and gets along with that person. Good Luck!!!
