Dogs bark.. If you are having trouble with excessive barking you can teach him/her how to speak on cue and how to be quiet on cue. The quiet can be done by holding a really smelly tasty treat right near their nose because they can't bark and sniff at the same time. Reward the second they sniff it (stop barking). Repeat and practice often.

Dogs bark and that is just normal. When they become restless or see a stranger, they would normally bark excessively.
