Dogs can get acne. Usually happens because of the food bowl and is primarily found on the chin and around the mouth. Keep his/her face wiped off to help prevent acne.

Dogs can also get juvenile cellulitis, also called puppy strangles. This is an immune system issue and can be very serious, even fatal, if proper antibiotics and vet care is not provided. It starts out by resembling a simple case of acne and ends up infecting the lymph glands and ultimately the entire body.
It is called strangles because the swelling can be so intense as to actually strangle the puppy.
I would certainly get a vet exam for this as bulldogs can be a breed prone to developing this condition.
There are no home medications which take the place of proper antibiotics.
