My 5yr Border Collie has been barking with a hoarde voice now for about a month

Took her to vet and she said its Kennel cough. She put her on Doxyfog antibiotics and gave her cortidone injection. But she is not coughing at all. Is it really kennel cough?

Kennel cough is a common name for a virus dogs get. It is like the common cold. Just like a cold, it may, but does not always include a cough. What you describe is consistent with an upper respiratory infection.
