My 1 year old havanese sleeps on our bed. She gets aggressive if i go to take her out for the last walk of the nite

She is a very playful well dispositoned dog - the only time she acts like this is when she is on our bed. We live in an apartment and if i put her back in the crate she just yelps and yelps.

It sounds like she is guarding your bed. I wouldn't let her on it anymore.

I'm not an expert, but I don't think you necessarily need to keep him off the bed.
Can you give more information on her behavior? Does she growl? Try to bite? From what I've seen some dogs don't like to be disturbed when they're sleeping.

(Never correct a dog for growling--growling is a warning, and if the dog comes to think they are not allowed to give a warning, they will end up biting without warning.)
