Just got a 6 year old yorkie and she is not fixed ..should I get her done even at this age ?

I dont think it's ever really too late. I volunteer at a local animal shelter that spay/neuters everything before she/he leaves. Spaying is supposed to cut down on health issues too. Hope this helps!

She's still in her prime, nowhere near being elderly--it should be fine. The only thing you might worry about is whether she's allergic to the anesthesia, as some dogs are.

Before you do it be sure and have the necessary tests done. I am allergic and have an extended pallet. So sexy undies for me. ;)
