jack russell dementia

My 15-1/2 year old Jack Russell suffers from dementia. She paces morning and night around the house and has forgotten she is housetrained. Anyone with similar experience?

Yes, you need to use pee pads unless you want to be cleaning up after the dog all of the time. Put them where she has had accidents and is most likely to go in. The pads are scented so your dog will know to go there, unless she is so old that she can't hold it at all, and then she will need doggie diapers. Give her a Greenie each day she does not have an accident and goes on the pad to reinforce the positive behavior. ^_^
