Is "selling stuff" Dogsters mission? This Modzelewski especially hawks all from snuggies to bacon bits - it's annoying!

I have no trouble spending my money on my own - thank you very much!

Dogster has to have ads from other companies to make money to keep themselves running. They only get 20%-30% of the funds they need from their own sales (Dogster Shop, DogsterPlus, zealies, etc). No ads, no Dogster. Take your pick, my friend.

I'm not sure how you think free websites stay free... they rely on ad revenue, running the site itself does cost money -- from the servers to the employees. They get some revenue from the Plus accounts but I'm sure not enough to cover everything. If the ads bother you, either don't click on them, or use Firefox as your browser and download the AdBlock Plus extension.

Like Kolbe said, get Firefox, use their AdBlocker Plus.
I never see any of the ads others complain about.

Gee, I include products to help viewers. If I just say "you, know that item that helps out with barking," they'd have no reference point. The point is not usually to promote one product over the other but to inform the public of what's out there.

- This Modzelewski (I've never been called that before ;) )
