Is it too late to prevent my new puppy from the parvo virus 1 day into exposing her and 2 days away from her 1st shot

Just last month my mom brought a puppy she found into our home. She said she looked to her as if the puppy was over heated and been without water. The puppy was here for 2 days both inside and in the backyard. On the 2nd day the puppy just wasn't coming around so we took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with a very light stage of parvo. All we can do was leave her in the care of the vet since we did not own her they would not release any info on where she would end up. My mom really wanted to keep her if she didn't belong to anyone that was missing her.
So its been a month and today i was given a puppy boxer. She doesnt look any older then maybe a month & half and hasn't had any shots! I did not want to take her cause i knew i wouldn't be able to provide her with her first shots till Monday. Beside that i am so unpreparred. No dog kennel/dog house ect. Has the damage already been done?? Is there anything i can do from this point untill her first doctor visit that can help prevent.

Keep her away from other dogs until she has her jabs, she may have been too young to have her shots and in that case you should not have got her,1st jabs are 8 weeks 2nd jabs 10 weeks in the UK and dogs are not let out properly until the 2nd jab.

Kolbe

Parvo can live in the environment for quite some time (year or more) so yes, the Boxer puppy is very much at risk and may have already been exposed. Need to get to a vet ASAP.
