is it safe to put a second application(in the same month) of flea repellent on my dog if the first one didnt work?

The first application was for a 20 lb dog. My dog weighs 30-35 lbs and he still has fleas. Im concerned that a second dose may harm him(?) Does any one know for sure ?

I would not but I don't know for sure but what I would do is give him a bath in dawn dish soap to kill all the fleas. Hope this helps.

No I would not do it. It would be fine to use Adams flea and tick spray on him.

There is a possibility you got a bum application. (this can happen). In areas that have a high population of insects you can apply 2x's a month, no more..

Petri

I wouldn't recommend it; monthly applicator flea meds can be toxic. Instead, I suggest using PETfection Bug Spray. It is 100% Organic and Non Toxic. It doesn't contain any chemicals and works great at keeping the bugs away and healing any previous bites he may already have. It smells good too! I love it. It is safe to use this along with a monthly applicator med. You can check it out at www.mypetfection.com for more info. Hope this helps!
