Yes as long as it is gradual. Mix in the new food a little bit by little bit each day.

Yep!

Dog food companies want us to believe that once you choose a food, you're locked in for life- buy anything else, you'll pay the price with a dog that refuses to eat, vomits, diarrhea, etc. This is NOT true. In fact, it's probably better for your dog's health to periodically switch foods because canine nutrition is still an inexact science.

When you switch, if your dog has always eaten the same food, mix a small amount of the new food in with the old, and gradually increase the new food over several meals. There may be some gas and soft stools for a few days as his system adjusts. It will pass though, and the more times you switch, the faster he'll adjust to each change.

You bet you can change your dogs food. Many people do. But just be careful to try and make it an easy change. The change over should take at least 10 days where you add a bit mire if the new food every day until you completely switch over to the new one
